One Wide River To Cross
Adapted by Barbara Emberley and Illustrated by Ed Emberley
Just found this one yesterday. The illustrations are superb. Ed and Barbara are actually a husband and wife team. Ed Emberley has illustrated over 50 books through the years. This one in particular won the Caldecott Honor book for 1967.
