More Blockprints!

So, we went on our weekly outing to Bookman's and I scored two more block printed children's books! For those of you who do not live in Tucson, Bookman's is our fabulous used bookstore. Dave and I have a tradition of going out for coffee and both Central Bookman's locations every Friday. Mia loves to play in the kid's area so, this gives me time to scour the shelves for block printed titles.

I found two this evening!

First up.... A Pocketful of Cricket by Rebecca Caudill Illustrated by Evaline Ness.

Next... Drummer Hoff adapted by Barbara Emberley Illustrated by Ed Emberley. I featured Ed Emberley in a previous post. I adore this hubby and wife team!

looks like you are building a nice collection of books...

I like that plan for the first sunday antique fair; I hope it doesn't disappoint! I think that it starts around 9 am... we can decide on the details when it is closer. Also, I'd like to come to the fashion show, so maybe I'll see you then.

oh, and I think that the colorful wall is at Bonillas? Is that a school? On Swan, south of Broadway. Funny, I always look at that wall, but never the name of the school!
